Kyra Grosman Psy. D.
School of Psychiatry's Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy core program. Responsive to
patients' needs and capabilities, Dr. Grosman takes a flexible approach to treatment to ensure that
patients are working on the areas in which they want help to their maximum capacity. While gaining
insight into t he sources of one's difficulties is an important part of the therapy process, living a happier,
healthier, more fulfilled life is the standard by which success should be measured.
Dr. Grosman has also held a position as a senior staff therapist and provided staff trainings at the
Institute for Human Identity, an outpatient community mental health center focused on serving
members of the LGBTQ community.
Dr. Kyra Grosman is a licensed psychologist who
specializes in helping adults who struggle with anxiety,
depression, relationship difficulties and trauma. She
received her undergraduate degree from Brown
University, and her masters and doctoral degrees from
The Wright Institute. She underwent pre- and
post-doctoral training at Southeast Psychological
Services. She also has extensive training and
experience in providing neurodevelopmental
